Battleground Queues 2/9/10

I was in the queue for Alterac Valley for over 3 hours tonight and never got called. Sadly this is becoming the norm. I queue for Alterac Valley as soon as I log in and then wait until I log off without getting into a battle, or on what has become a good day, getting into one. It wasn't like this last week and I am not sure what the problem is. Last week I was waiting no more than 20 minutes to get in.

I did get into one battle for Arathi Basin but as usual that was just a joke. We started off well, getting the Gold Mine, Stables and Lumber Mill, but then the typical Alliance stupidity took over and we lost them. At the very start of every battle it says "3 nodes needed to win". Seems pretty simple doesn't it? Get 3 nodes, defend 3 nodes, win. Evidently that is more then some people can comprehend. For some reason, and this happens in almost every battle, the Alliance has to go off in one's or two's and try to get more nodes. This leaves nodes poorly defended if there is anyone there at all to defend them or call incoming. I hate it when AB is my daily, the only way we seem to win in there is if we come up against a really, really bad Horde team.

The Battle for Alterac Valley 71-79 Slot - 2/8/10

The Alliance is still having a really bad time in Alterac Valley. I fought in 1 battle on Brieanna, a loss. That wasn't entirely our fault though, we started off outnumbered 28x40. That is pretty bad considering the people in there range from 71-79. I was in queue the entire time I was on and that was the only battle that came up. I was in queue for over 2 hours before that one came up, the queues are incredibly long lately for some reason and we are starting off outnumbered most times, it is getting to be just like the 80 slot.

Needless to say we were overrun and forced back into Dun Baldar which we tried, but failed, to defend. That battle ended 18 minutes after it started, when the Horde killed Vann, at which time we had 32 players to the Horde's 40.
